The system will keep track of all waste from the moment a new container is created, right through collection and on to disposal via any authorised route. Container types can be defined so that you can differentiate between say Yellow Bins, Plastic Containers, Metal Drums, or any other names you would like to use to physically describe the containers. Departments can handle their own waste containers, sealing them when they are full, and requesting collection by waste management. Containers can either be used for single isotopes, or a mix of isotopes - IsoStock handles all the decay automatically.
